Stay up to date with the latest developments at Ever Carbon and explore insights into carbon fiber composite recycling, circular technologies, recycled material applications and industry trends as we continue advancing high-value resource recovery and sustainable material innovation.
Recently, the Jiangsu Circular Economy Association and the Shanghai Circular Economy Association joint research team visited Jiangsu Hengtan Polyfiber Circular Technology Co., Ltd. for a special study and guidance. They took an in-depth look at our company's carbon fibre and glass fibre composite material recycling technologies, production line equipment and market industry achievements, and carried out in-depth discussions around key topics such as comprehensive utilisation of 'new three types' of solid waste, cross-regional industrial collaboration, joint development of industry standards, and breakthroughs in technological innovation.
As a tech-innovative company specialising in the recycling and harmless disposal of waste carbon fibre composites and waste glass fibre reinforced products, as well as their deep processing, Hengtan Polyfibre has long focused on the comprehensive recycling of retired wind turbine blade waste. It is one of the few core enterprises in China involved in drafting industry standards in the field of recycled composites. Relying on independently developed core technologies and specialised equipment, the company carries out professional and precise recycling of waste resources such as retired wind turbine blades, industrial carbon fibre scraps, and various discarded composite products, maximally preserving the original mechanical properties of the carbon fibres and consistently producing high-quality recycled carbon fibres and a series of deep-processed products.
Currently, our company has established an integrated loop model of 'material recycling—intelligent equipment—scenario application', fully connecting the entire industry chain from harmless disposal of waste composites, resource regeneration to market application. This effectively addresses issues like industry waste accumulation, resource wastage and unstable recycling quality, providing a practical circular economy solution for green and low-carbon transformation in wind power, automotive and new materials sectors.
During the research period, the team listened in detail to our company's core process technology routes, advantages of intelligent equipment, recycled product system, and market application. Considering the current domestic industry window of large-scale wind turbine blade retirements, the team focused on discussions about upgrading the company's disposal capabilities, iteration of core technologies, promotion of recycled products in the market, and industry layout planning, fully recognising Heng Carbon Fibre's technical accumulation, innovation ability, and industry contribution in the field of composite waste resource utilisation.
Tang Zhengdong, president of the Jiangsu Circular Economy Association, said that Jiangsu, as a major province for the 'new three' manufacturing and application industries, has complete supply chains for wind power, photovoltaics and power batteries, with plenty of industrial resources, providing a solid material supply, mature disposal capabilities and a broad market for recycling waste. With Jiangsu and Shanghai geographically close and industrially complementary, they have great advantages and potential for collaborative circular economy development.
Ren Juping, President of the Shanghai Circular Economy Association, gave high recognition to our company's technological innovation achievements and industrialisation results, and expressed that she will continue to deepen industry collaboration between Suzhou and Shanghai. She looks forward to working closely with Hengtan Jufibres on core technology breakthroughs, industrial model innovation, and joint development of industry standards to tackle the challenges and bottlenecks in the composite materials recycling industry.
Next, the circular economy associations in Suzhou and Shanghai will keep acting as a bridge, working together on industry research, creating standards, sharing technical resources, and connecting market opportunities. They aim to promote cross-regional cooperation on the 'new three types' of solid waste recycling industry chain, support joint efforts in building waste-free cities in the Yangtze River Delta, and provide solid technical backing and industry guidance for the high-quality development of the regional circular economy.
In the future, Heng Carbon Fibre will continue to focus on the carbon fibre composite recycling economy, stick to tech-driven innovation, keep improving recycling processes, upgrade smart equipment, diversify its product range, steadily expand waste treatment and recycling capabilities, fully promote large-scale use of recycled carbon fibre in wind power, automotive, modified plastics, new building materials and other fields, actively join industry standard development, and support the Yangtze River Delta and even the entire country's new materials industry in achieving green, low-carbon, high-quality and sustainable growth.
